Wildlife Friendly Border
You may have noticed the new flower border along the wall at the front of school. Many of the children worked really hard to prepare this back in the Spring and plant it with wildflower seeds and nectar rich plants. As you can see from the photos below, it bloomed beautifully and we recently harvested some of the sunflowers to donate to Monkey World. We have left some of the seed heads for the birds and also saved some to plant next year. We are planning to continue to extend this area so that it is even bigger and better for pollinators.
