  • Year 4

Welcome to Year 4 where we are look forward to taking you on the next phase of your exciting and inspiring learning journey.

In this year group we learn all about the Romans, Anglo Saxons and Vikings. We also study the local area, World Climates and how our school has changed over the years. We love to try out new activities in PE, come up with creations in Art and Design and Technology while learning from others have created in the past. As well as music with Miss Wakefield you will have the chance to learn another musical instrument such as the violin, samba instruments or brass.

This year, we will be having a residential stay at Leeson House, taking part in a number of outdoor activities. This camp is invaluable in developing the children’s independence and increasing their confidence. They are always very proud of what they achieve.

Miss Wilson & Mrs Hale are always on hand to help you along the way and guide you towards developing your learning, skills for life and positive thinking. We have a ‘We can try,’ attitude to learning and all children are encouraged to reach their full potential.
