Meet Our Eco Council

Our dedicated and enthusiastic Eco Council has been working tirelessly to help our school make a positive impact on the environment. From tackling plastic waste—including from our external caterers—to organising a litter picking committee, they are committed to making our school cleaner and greener. The council has also taken the lead in collective worships, inspiring others with their message of sustainability, and has arranged for knowledgeable visitors to educate us on how we can better care for our planet. Their passion and hard work are helping to shape a more environmentally conscious school community.

Green flag award

We are thrilled to announce that our school has been awarded the prestigious Eco-Schools Green Flag accreditation! This recognition celebrates the incredible efforts of our students, staff, and wider school community in promoting sustainability and environmental awareness. From reducing waste and conserving energy to nurturing biodiversity and encouraging eco-friendly habits, our commitment to creating a greener future has truly paid off. The Green Flag is a symbol of our dedication to environmental education and action, and we couldn’t be prouder of this achievement!

Our Eco Council has been hard at work promoting sustainability within our school community. As part of their ongoing efforts to reduce waste and encourage reuse, they have organised a second-hand school uniform collection. The team has carefully sorted and prepared donated items, making them available free of charge to any families who would like them. This initiative not only supports our commitment to environmental responsibility but also helps ensure that every student has access to the uniform they need. The uniforms will be available in the conference room during Book Sale Week—everyone is welcome to come and browse!
